EIGHT DAYS OF BLUES PhotosNew Jersey's rockin' blues bandJEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (LP) - Hurrricane Gustavo had some competition when another hurricane touched down on stage at Jefferson Highlights Summer Concert on August 30 - in the form of EIGHT DAYS OF BLUES, New Jersey's rockin' blues band! From 8:30 to 10, the enthusiastic crowd was pelted with rockin' blues like I Can Tell, Short Tight Skirt, and Born Under a Bad Sign and originals like Her Eyes, she'll bring you down. Lead guitarist and vocalist Lance Casper moved across the stage at times like a 100mph wind, sharing lightning guitar licks with Glen Juengling, backed by Mary Jasch's searing, yet sensitive, keyboard work, Ken Nerbak's driving bass lines, and two kick-ass drummers: Bill "Dark Crash" Hemberger and Don "Train Wreck" Sandberg. If you missed this hurricane-like performance, be sure to catch one next time. Check our show schedule or just email us to set one up.
